Xero is online accounting software for small and medium sized businesses. It includes invoicing, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, inventory and payroll functionality.

Power BI is a cloud-based business analytics service that enables anyone to visualize and analyse data with greater speed, efficiency, and understanding. It connects users to a broad range of data through easy-to-use dashboards, interactive reports, and compelling visualisations that bring data to life.

The session brings together these two specialist expert groups to explore connecting Microsoft Power BI with Xero.

Bio of presenter:

Sonia Cuff is the co-founder of a technology consultancy company called The Missing Chair. She is passionate about technology and how it can enable people to be more productive and to achieve more. Sonia applies her 10 years of corporate systems experience to the Small Business space, keeping pace with the latest changes in technology and sharing this with SMB customers. This year Sonia was awarded as a Microsoft MVP for her work educating people about Office 365.

Craig Bryden of TetraQuark is a highly experienced Business Intelligence / Data Analytics practitioner using the Microsoft SQL Server products. He presents at SQL Server Saturdays and other community events. Craig’s passion is to help his customers get the most out of their data assets.

Craig currently hold a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert – Business Intelligence certification and was previously a Microsoft Certified Trainer. Craig is one of the organisers of the QLD Power BI User group.
