Good day!
I am very thankful to my mentor Ms Heather Smith of Anise Consulting for giving me a very good privilege to introduce myself to all Anise Consulting clients and the readers of Anise Consulting blog.
I am Jade Pongase Nacario Acas an international student from the Philippines. I successfully finish my Masters degree in Commerce major in Professional Accounting in Griffith University. As of the moment I am still enrolled in Griffith University, Nathan Campus for one semester of advance course for it is a requirement in Australian immigration to have a two full time year degree in university to apply for permanent residency. Back home I had successfully gained a Bachelors degree in Business Administration specializing in Management. While having all the bookkeeping experience, I knew by heart, Business and Finance is the right degree for me and soon also I realize the specific passion I have is on Accounting and Bookkeeping and this give me the reason to further my study in Business and Finance and specialize Accounting. During my undergraduate education in Management we are thought in one of my course that passion is not everything, there should be skills, talents and good work habits so to be successful in the career we are going to choose. And luckily for me I believe I have all these four in pursuing my career.
I am very fortunate to be one of the students who could avail the mentorship program in Griffith University. This program helps students like me to have an idea about the real world outside the four corners of the university. It will introduce students also to the Australian workplace culture. And through this I met Miss Heather Smith and I am really very lucky to have a very active and helpful mentor. As of now I am really excited to working with Miss Heather and to be of help. I am really looking forward to meeting all Anise Consulting clients and staff and if given a chance I would be pleased to share my time to be of help to them.
