During a client training session I was logged into the client’s Xero file, and I got her to enter her bank credentials in to activate the bank feed. This all worked, and the bank feed activated – HOWEVER – this meant the bank credentials were tagged to my USER name rather than the clients USER name. I should have activated the bank feeds, while we were in the Xero file under her USER profile.
I now need to login to her Xero file and de-active the bank feed and then get her to login to her Xero file and reactivate the bank feed. Then I need to ensure no duplicate transactions come through.
Don’t make this rookie @Xero mistake I made! To avoid this happening to you, ensure the person responsible for activating the bank feeds is logged in as the USER when the bank feeds are activated.
