The Queensland Solar Hot Water Program has now begun with Queenslanders who registered their interest before June 30 receiving Application Packs.
Registrations of Interest (ROI’s) are still open for anyone who would like to register for Program updates. Those who register for Program updates from July 1 will receive Application Packs after the first group of applicants have been processed.
Full eligibility criteria are available to help potential applicants decide whether they would like to participate in the Queensland Solar Hot Water Program.

The Program aims to accelerate the installation of solar technology hot water systems over three years and is a key part of the government’s recently announced Queensland Renewable Energy Plan.
Queenslanders who cannot wait to replace existing electric storage hot water systems before becoming eligible for the Program, are encouraged to access current market offers for solar technology hot water systems. This includes applying for the Federal Government’s $1600 solar hot water rebate.
