1. Because XERO is online, it can automatically update the software; it does not need to wait a whole year for software release.
  2. XERO has an inbox when you login that notifies you ahead of time of scheduled outages.
  3. A simplified payroll within XERO online was introduced on 31st March. It does not include tax rate tables.
  4. XERO allows you to export information to Google Docs. Google Docs has a suite of products, similar to Microsoft Office offerings.
  5. On the bottom right of the XERO screen are feedback options, so you can very quickly let Rod and Hamish know what you are thinking.
  6. You can SKYPE call your contacts directly from XERO. Click your installed version of SKYPE opens, and the call begins.

  8. XERO has been designed to use only one GST account to track GST on income and expenses. So XERO does not have a GST collected or a GST paid account like MYOB. I think this is a similar set-up to QUICKEN? Correct me if I am wrong.
