It seems that there are a plethora of password management solutions on the market. I am looking for something simple and intuitive, free or a reasonably priced. I have an iphone so something that syncs with my iphone is also must.
First port of call in my search must be the iphone app store, there are more options than I ever thought was possible, ranging from FREE to $12.99. This is sensitive confidential information so I do worry about the guarantees of a FREE offering.
I love FREE so checked out the review on iTunes, though there are always some ‘fake company reviews’ so only believe the feedback that seems realistic.
I asked on twitter and received a response from @GoldmineBkeep :@MYOBTrainer Hi I use 1password but its iPhone and Mac http://bit.ly/PXO3I but Leo Laporte mentioned http://bit.ly/B1ruQ which he likes.
The cost of 1password is $5.99. I check it out on google & it is from Ontario, Canada (bit of a worry he he he, I lived there for 3 years!) They are on twitter. Ahh but I go to the website and the product costs $39.95 – bit deceptive.
I then check out the free app Keeper Password & Data security similar issue FREE app, but pay for the programme.
I then visit a site called, “2010 Password Management Software Review Product Comparisons” and their number one selection is RoboForm Pro – though they all seem to be much of a muchness, nothing greatly distinguishing them. I try to download it but it stalled my itunes, and my PC froze :(.
I am now bored.
