The image below, shows the dilemma that Joe Hockey is facing.  He was poorly advised when it came to social media and wasted time creating a personal page, which only accepts a limited number of friends.  So he inevitable ‘rejects’ potential friends not something any politician wants to do.  Should he set up a Facebook fan page – yes it will allow he any number of fans, it will provide him the flexibility to load videos and comments, and allow for dialogue between Joe and his followers.
