What do Rob Thomas, Robbie Williams & Robert Gerrish have in common?

The strangest thing happened with my new iPod nano, it would only sync to artists with the name Robert. I tweeted my frustration & Mr Thomas replied. So who is Robert Goulet? From his own website

I however did not have Robert Goulet on my iPod, only Rob Thomas, Robbie Williams’ and Robert Gerrish.
