It is Sunday, and I announce to the world via twitter about to start my #15MWC #wordpress #challenge where I try and build a wordpress site in 15 minutes per day.
I am confused about why I have blogs on some pages and writing on other pages, not sure what I have done here. I tweet “I don’t understand has a blog has appeared on the 2nd page of my wordpress site – think the page concept is confusing me”
I visited the wordpress forum which advised I should visit wordpress documentation The site was well written, and advised me that there were Page Pages and Post Pages.
@lordphantom answers my twitter call from Bundaberg and points me in the right direction. Under settings->readings I need to change the set up of my page, so my home page is static and my blog is the posting blog page.
I manage to sort this out and put something feeble on my home page. I discover that I can add a Linkedin box to my page. I find the html code for this here :- http://www.linkedin.com/profile?promoteProfile and I can insert it by pressing code, paste html, then code again and voila, I have a Linkedin box.
@BizConnectGroup @cazazz suggest that I join the wordpress Brisbane meeting group sounds like a great idea, now where to find that time!
Tomorrow I hope to sort out my blog post page!
