SEO seems to be a mysterious art. Here’s a link to two sites that will assess in percentage terms how similar two web pages are.

Supposedly those dastardly spiders do not like similar web pages, however I am not sure what % is deemed a good percentage.
I compared pages within my website and they all came out at roughly 22% similarity.
I then compared my website to my blog, and they only had a 2% similarity.
